The shoe is a union of storied silhouettes from the Converse line, crafted by Louie alongside the Converse design team for a silhouette that’s true to his specifications, both for on and off the board.

Here's How Lopez Landed His Design

He began with a Chuck Taylor All-Star outsole — the Converse element that Louie returns to over and over again, as he says it maximizes his board feel.

Looking through the Converse archives, Lopez was drawn to a tennis silhouette from the 70s featuring a butted seam upper construction that offered softer lines. It's a style element not seen in the majority of skate shoes today.
